Wendy L. Hill, William ’67 and Pamela Rappolt Professor in Neuroscience and Provost. Ph.D., University of Washington. Teaching areas: behavioral neuroscience, psychopharmacology, animal behavior. Research interests: animal behavior, physiologcal mechanisms (neurochemicals, hormones), evolutionary processes, and social behavior of birds. Recipient of Jones Lecture Award, Marquis Teaching Award, and 1999 Pennsylvania Professor of the Year.
Elaine R. Reynolds, Professor of Biology and Neuroscience. Ph.D., Carnegie Mellon University. Teaching areas: general biology, neuroscience, art and neuroscience. Research interests: Drosophila melanogaster as a model for human diseae. Neurocomputation modeling.
James R. Dearworth, Assistant Professor. Ph.D., University of Delaware. Teaching areas: general biology, comparative vertebrate anatomy, neuroanatomy, anatomy of vision. Research interests: functional anatomical mapping of the retina and visual system in the turtle.
Lisa Gabel, Assistant Professor. Ph.D., University of Connecticut. Teaching areas: physiological psychology, psychopharmacology, advanced neuroscience, neurophysiology, quantitative methods. Research interests: synaptic plasticity, epilepsy, neurodevelopmental disorders.
